Once the home of the Guardian to Chateau Coye, this pretty cottage is now available to book for your self catering holiday. Comfortably furnished, well equipped, perfect for a relaxing holiday in South West France. Enjoy days out, or laze by the pool. Pick, cook and eat home grown fruits and vegetables from the gardens and orchard.
Nestled in the heart of the country-side, yet near to all amenities, a perfect base to explore the region, including the wonderful cities of Biarritz, Pau, plus the delightful historic villages and market towns, in addition to vineyards, Atlantic coastline and majestic Pyrennees.
Prices from £475 (low season) to £675 (high season)
Although centuries old, Le Pigeonnaire has been restored and renovated to a high standard offering comfortable, modern amenities without compromising its delightful charm.
Accomodation comprises a spacious well equipped kitchen dining area, a cosy sitting room with woodburner, two bedrooms and a good sized bathroom and separate shower room.
In addition there are outdoor areas for relaxing including a discreet balcony, private garden and patio areas.
Guests can enjoy full access to the 9 acres of ground and swimming pool with decked terrace.

Due to the nature of the old cottage, we regret it is unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility.
We have a No Smoking Policy within the property, though smoking is permitted in the grounds.
Well behaved pets welcomed.
Le Pigeonnaire has WiFi and supplementary electric heating in addition to a woodburner.
The cottage is cleaned thoroughly before your arrival, and a welcome pack comprising fresh bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, cheese, eggs, butter, fruit juice, jam, basic condiments, fresh fruit and a bottle each of red and white wine. The tap water is safe to drink.
Guests have use of the 10 x 5 metre unheated swimming pool and covered decked terrace. Sun loungers, and sunshades are provided. A hammock and outside garden games are available, such as petanque, table tennis and badminton. There is a private rear shaded garden for sole use of Pigeonnaire guests. Guests are welcome to pick their own vegetables and fruits from the kitchen gardens. Evening meals can be provided by arrangement. A Welcome Pack with holiday information about the area is also provided.
Living Accomodation consists :
One double and one twin bunk bedrooms.
A travel cot is available.
One the first floor is a family size bathroom with bath, overbath shower, wc, handbasin, heated towel rail
All bedding, bedlinens, towels and pool towels provided. Beds will be made up with either feather or hollowfill pillows and quilts according to your choice. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly.

Note: The ceiling in the dining area is low and beamed.

Note: Stairs rise from the sitting room to the first floor. The stairs are steep with a rope bannister. A stair gate is available.
